A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Starborne 64

- Game is WIP and there are bugs of which i know, im working on patch them as soon as possible!

- I personally recommend playing on a controller.

v1.0.3  notes:

- All sounds now work
- Fixed few bugs
- More balanced difficulty
- Added volumetric effects

v1.0.1 notes:

- Added menu midi music.
- Enemies no longer clip through wall.
- Added more ammo to pickup.

Known issues:

- When you die and start the game again, shaders will glitch out and some bugs will appear in the level, so its best to restart the whole game if you want to try again. I will fix this later.
- If you notice something please let me know.

really stylish game, LOVE the atmosphere.

would LOVE to see this become a longer project.
The purposefully clunky n64-styled controls fit it well, too!

I also noticed that i'm able to fire my weapon before i even get it. thought that was a funny glitch. also its super cool to see the blender game engine be used ☻

The game looks cool, unfortunately the controls are horrible. I don't know if this can be changed in the settings since they won't open. You can almost move well if you use one hand to press the up arrow key to move forward and the other hand to move the mouse left and right to turn and click to shoot, but then you can't jump or strafe unless you have 3 arms.

Why can't this just be wasd to move, e to interact, shift to run, space to jump, and mouse to look and shoot?

because n64

Just because it's styled like an n64 game doesn't mean it needs bad controls. That just makes it unplayable. Besides these aren't even n64 controls, they're just bad keyboard controls.
